‘Rijkswaterstaat is an organization with an essential role in maintaining the country's liveability. It is an honour for me to be able to participate in this by working on civil engineering projects in a dynamic administrative environment, and by managing a large-scale, iconic government agency.’

'In daily practice, close to citizens, our work towards a safe, accessible and sustainable Netherlands becomes concrete. The replacement and renovation task in particular will be an important task. This requires good cooperation with public and private partners. I would like to contribute to that, with my focus on the regional work of Rijkswaterstaat.'
