Countries in the North Sea Region develop maritime spatial plans, concerning the (future) design of cross-border space. The growing need for offshore windfarms plays an important role in this development. Moreover, it is important for all countries that a common, comparable approach is adopted for the assessment of environmental impact. The SEANSE project offers all the necessary tools required for a common and aligned practice.
